A simple life means clarity.
In an age where everything has become faster, busier and noisier, many people long for precisely this one state: inner peace, direction and truth. Yet clarity often seems like something that lies far away – as if one must first achieve it, first earn it, or only find it at some point in the future.
But clarity does not begin with more knowledge.
It begins with simplicity.
Life does not follow a straight line. It goes up and down, full of stress and turmoil. We must navigate the highs and lows, often fraught with worry and sometimes marked by pain. In a sea of emotions, most people see their goals receding into the distance.
And that is precisely when something crucial happens: people start to make their lives more complicated than they need to be. They think too much, want too much, have to do too much. They lose the joy of simplicity – and with it, often, the connection to themselves.
A complicated life loses its uniqueness.
A simple life brings clarity.
SIMPLICITY is one of the greatest virtues a person can attain!
For only a simple life bestows the inner freedom needed to rise above oneself. Not in the sense of higher, faster, better – but in the sense of true expansiveness. Of broad-mindedness. Of inner space.
Be simple in your being and broad-minded in your thinking.
The simple person is sincere and clear. They are unpretentious and full of goodwill. They fulfil their duties without ulterior motives. They are free from complicated thinking, free from selfish preoccupation with themselves. To be simple means simply to be there – in harmony with one’s innermost being, with nature and with the creative force we call God.
Such a person does not live by intrigue or malicious intent. Their life is filled with joy and the ability to foster honest and open fellowship within a community. And it is precisely through this that they attain true greatness.
Above all, however, such a person, on the path to their goals, will never become fanatical or stubbornly fixated solely on the goal. They will never forget to live in the here and now.
For clarity is not rigidity.
Clarity is not narrowness.
Clarity is a quiet sense of direction.
Such a person incorporates joy and quality of life into the journey towards their goal. They move through life’s many small spaces with purpose, creativity and openness. They are unburdened by excessive thinking.
Their thoughts flow from space to space, from goal to goal – further and freer, in a simple, uncomplicated way. And imperceptibly, they attain a greatness that is not loud, but sustaining.
Don’t let yourself miss out on life because of rigid goals!
Remember that openness, flexibility and joy in all your actions – in all the little things in your life – nourish the simple achievement of your goals.
Inner clarity does not arise from pressure.
It arises from simplicity.
And it carries the fire that burns within you.
