I see it.
I see people who carry on functioning even though they’ve long since been exhausted.
I see people who keep performing even though, deep down, they’ve long since reached their limits.
And I see something that hardly anyone talks about.
Fear.
The fear of no longer being able to keep up.
The fear of being replaced.
The fear of losing one’s place.
The world has changed.
It has become faster.
Louder. More demanding.
New technologies are emerging.
Artificial intelligence is finding its way into more and more areas.
Processes are being automated.
Structures are changing.
And what could actually be a source of support
is becoming a threat to many.
Not because it has to be.
But because something else is happening.
People are beginning to lose themselves.
They look outwards.
They compare themselves to others.
They try to keep up.
He believes he has to understand everything.
Make use of everything.
Be able to do everything.
And that’s exactly where the pressure starts.
Not in the technology.
Not in development.
But in the thought:
I have to.
I have to get faster.
I have to get better.
I have to keep up.
But who decided that?
Who decided that you have to go along with everything that’s possible?
The truth is:
Not everything that comes your way is your path.
And not everything that’s possible is necessary for your life.
This is precisely why many people feel under pressure,
because they try to do everything justice.
The demands of their job.
The expectations of those around them.
The images on social media.
And the possibilities presented to them every day.
But in the process, something is lost.
One’s own direction.
One’s own voice.
One’s own sense of proportion.
And that is precisely the moment when the pressure begins to take its toll.
Not because the world is changing.
But because people stop leading themselves.
I see people wearing themselves out.
Trying to keep up with a pace that isn’t their own.
Putting themselves under pressure without even realising it.
And at the same time, I ask myself:
Why?
Why do we believe we have to go along with everything?
Why do we believe that we can only survive if we adapt –
to everything that comes from outside?
Perhaps now is the moment to realise something different.
You don’t have to be able to do everything.
You don’t have to understand everything.
You don’t have to go along with every trend.
And above all:
You don’t have to lose yourself in order to survive.
Artificial intelligence can support you.
It can streamline processes.
It can give you time.
But it cannot replace you.
Not your clarity.
Not your decisions.
Not your sense of what is right.
Not your humanity.
What truly defines you isn’t what you’re capable of.
It’s what you consciously choose.
And this is precisely where a new kind of security arises.
Not in the outside world.
Not in control.
But within you.
In the clarity of who you are.
What you want.
And what you’re no longer willing to put up with.
Perhaps now is exactly the time to shift your perspective.
Not to constantly look outwards.
Not to constantly compare.
But to ask yourself:
What truly belongs to me?
What do I really need?
And what can I let go of, because it was never my path?
You won’t be able to stop the world.
But you can decide how you move through it.
And perhaps that is exactly where something new begins.
Not in the struggle against the pressure.
But in the decision to stop letting it become your own.
You don’t have to put up with everything.
You can start taking charge of yourself again.
